When you lack the time or the knowledge to handle one way link building on your own, you'll feel inclined to hire a link building service to cover this part of online business development.

When you lack the time or the knowledge to handle one way link building on your own, you’ll feel inclined to hire a link building service to cover this part of online business development. However, with just a brief search on the Internet, you’ll find yourself overwhelmed by the huge offer and the number of companies that advertise in this domain. And the struggle to find a reliable link building service begins. You could make things easier by following the tips below.

Your search should begin with a simple check of the contact details available on the web page of the link building service providers. Check the validity of the address, and contact the company both by email and by phone. When the only way to contact the link building service is via the PO box, you can suspect a scam.

Another element that should convince or dissuade you from hiring a certain link building service is the kind of links pointing to their website as well as their page rank. Without a good search engine position, how can such a company claim credibility? This means that you should better keep on searching. This is the kind of dilemma you will sort out in this routine checkup. The investigation of the past work history is the next step here.

References play the role of recommendations for any reliable SEO link building service. You should be able to check testimonials and talk to former or present customers. If the company has a dark history on the Internet, you’ll find information with the Better Business Bureau and in forums.Conclusive information therefore comes from the work background and professional collaborations. You may call this: the final test!

Even when you’ve settled on a certain company, you should carefully verify the claims and make sure that you agree with the strategies they intend to implement for your business. Price should be discussed in relation with these strategies. Many service providers have both ready-made link building packages and customized solutions tailored to meet the needs of a certain company in particular.

The link building methods should be subject to intense discussion. The service providers have to follow the rules and use all the tools necessary to help you achieve good business exposure. If you feel doubtful about the honesty of the strategies involved, it’s a good idea to look for another link building service. That’s the best way to protect your business reputation!

Wow, this is going to be HUGE! I can’t believe what I’ve just witnessed. It will take the Internet by storm! Hold on to your hats people; this is beyond belief. Your blog content is going to go viral with this “secret marketing technique”. Yup, right before your eyes your blog will shoot to the top of the search engines with your offerings, and the money will come rolling in. Whew!

Okay, maybe that opening was a bit over the top, but after going through rehashed courses on making money online, sad, pathetic rewrites on how to generate massive amounts of traffic, and finally questing after that ever elusive road to wealth explained by yet another “guru”, I was surprised to find a brand new product that offers real value to anybody trying to make a buck online.

It’s called VideoGoRound, an offshoot of the popular PLR site, InfoGoRound. It gives a relative novice to marketing online access to creating videos about their products and services, all with little to no knowledge or software beyond the VideoGoRound website.

That’s right, technology has finally reached a level where a person with no knowledge of videography can write some copy, paste it into a box, pick an avatar (online character who represents you), push a button and spit out a finished, professional video that can be uploaded to any video site including popular places like YouTube and Viddler.

It gives a marketer the power to pump out a series of videos about a specific niche in record time, upload it to video sites and get listed in Google. This is also a real godsend for article writers who can make a seamless transition to video marketing without having to learn new software like Camtasia Studio or Sony Vegas or investing in the high priced software to get started.

Combining this videomaking service with one of the following mutliple upload video sites can make a marketer very powerful indeed. Sites liek these submit your video output to many video sites with the click of a button:

- Traffic Geyser
- TubeMogul
- Heyspread
- VideoWildFire

This method will work with any affiliate product or service, and using avatars allows otherwise camera shy people to avoid having to take the plunge and show up on video. The avatar speaks as well, so if you think you sound like a frog, you can avoid hearing yourself croaking out your copy.

If this interests you, more information is available. There is also an easy-to-watch, comprehensive video on how this product works at: www.GetVideoGoRound.com

Avoid talking negatively about your competitors ? Readers will automatically pick up when you create a negative attitude and it will turn them off from your site and do exactly the opposite of what you are trying to accomplish.? If you use your abilities and product confidence versus slinging mud, it will be much more effective in the long run.? You can look at the results of political elections as this is a common technique, mudslinging, that is often used and that will often come back to bite you in the tail.? Another thing to think about when using this approach is that you may just find yourself in a defamation lawsuit if you are not careful.? Stick to talking about what you do and how well you are doing it and you will find it to be more productive and better for business.

Never give the reader a reason for not reading your blog ? for some reason, a lot of bloggers feel the need to apologize in the beginning of their entry for their inability to write or their lack of experience.? All you have done is told the reader to go elsewhere because you have no idea what you are doing.? To be perfectly honest, people are not really critiquing your writing, it is about how clearly you can convey your message about whatever it is you are trying to sell.? Overtime, your writing will get better, but you can never recover from lost business.

Stay away from making your posting look like your opinion - Quite frankly, nobody really cares what your opinion is, but they do want cold, hard facts that will prove the effectiveness and usefulness of a product or service.? Quote professional reviews and factual data to support what you are stating in the article.? Give them a reason, lots of them to buy what you are selling.

Do not get caught up in making a business blog a personal blog -? If you want to do that, create a blog to share all of your personal experiences but keep that out of a blog that you have created for the purpose of being a business outlet.? If they are there for a service, they could care less that your dog did a cute little trick that morning, keep everything related to the product or service that you are selling.

Stay on track ? another pratfall of beginner business bloggers is that they tend to talk about stuff that is not related to the niche that they are trying to capture.? You must stay on track and give information about what you are selling, not something cool that you saw in another market niche.? Again, you are just giving your readers a reason to go elsewhere as they are not getting what they came to your site for.? Stay on track and keep your entries relevant to your business.

Blogs on a diverse range of subjects are all the rage these days both amongst adults and children. Blogs are further helped in their growth and popularity due to websites dealing with social networking such as MySpace. A large variety of choices are available to Internet users in this regard. They can avail any option that catches their fancy and can start writing about their interests in a matter of a few minutes. This blogging hype is even more encouraged by the popularity of existing blogs. More and more people are becoming interested in blogging themselves.

Children are no exception. A constant rise in the number of blogs available that cater to the intellectual and leisure needs of children is attracting them to create blogs of their own. The general trend in blogs created by children is to increase their social sphere or to stay in touch with their friends and family but there are some kids who are smarter than average and realize the money-making potential of blogs. No doubt there is a lot children can learn from blogging but blogging can also be risky at time for them. This calls for some vigilant monitoring on the part of parents so as to ensure their child stays out of trouble. This article is a collection of advice for parents about how to monitor their child’s blog.

Detailed Discussion About Internet Behavior with Children

The moment a child shows an interest in creating a blog, parents should sit him down and have a talk about what they expect from him viz-a-viz the usage of his blog. A frank discussion about the do’s and dont’s of responsible Internet usage should be discussed and made clear to the child. He should also be told why some things can be risky so he doesn’t rebel against any rules set by parents. There is no doubt that certain dangers exist in the use of Internet specially for children but these can be eliminated if parents are careful to communicate them to their children in an honest manner. Therefore, it is important that parents themselves are well informed about all these dangers and how to steer clear of them.

It is imperative that parents be involved in the entire process of their child’s blog, right from the idea of starting one to the actual posts put up by the child. Merely knowing the child wants to start a blog is not enough. Why the child wants to start a blog is also a very important question parents should seek an answer to. Knowing this could help in setting certain guidelines and rules that the child msut follow while blogging. A child, for instance may want to start a blog for the purpose of social networking. Now this can be very risky and parents should inform their child about the dangers involved. Rules should be set down for the content and information teh child decides to disclose to readers. Full name, address, telephone numbers are a complete no-no. Any other information that may lead readers to identify the child should also be prohibited.

Checking The Blog Regularly

Parents must not stop at just discussing the child’s interest in blogging and laying down certain rules for him to follow. A regular monitoring of the blog should be done to ake sure the child is adhering to the rules set by you. One effective way of doing this is to review the blog periodically without telling the child the exact date that the review would take place. In this way, the child won’t get the chance to delete any questionable material just before the review and put it back again soon as the review is over. One must not underestimate children nowadays as they would find a way of hiding the posts that break the rules set by you and put up appropriate blog content during the period of the review. This would undermine the whole process of checking the blog.

Keeping A Check On Blogs Favored By Your Child

Not only should parents keep an eye on their child’s blog but also know the blogs he visits regularly and monitor these too. Sometimes children find blogs that offer information that is unsuitable for them and can even be dangerous. This makes monitoring a child’s favorite blogs very important. A large number of blogs give access to readers to contact the blogger. This is done mostly through comments that visitors leave on the posts. The visitors may reveal their identity and leave contact information for the blogger. Vigilant parents who keep a check on the blogs that their children visit frequently are in a better position to ensure their child does not behave in an inappropriate manner or put himself at risk unintentionally. Parents who remain aware

Search Engine techniques for optimization of blogs are extremely important for bloggers if they want to increase the amount of traffic that a blog attracts and to make it successful in reaching out to a large audience. Bloggers who are interested in building high traffic to their blog and
maintaining a successful blog should pay particular attention to search engine optimization techniques which can help to improve the search engine rankings of their blogs. Search engines all employ some type of ranking algorithm which is used to determine the order in which websites are returned when an Internet user searches for information on a particular topic.

However, not all search engines use the same algorithm for this purpose. As a result there is no simple solution to optimizing a blog for high rankings on all search engines. There are a few tips though which can be useful with most search engines. These tips include using relevant keywords, generating back links to your blogs and using image tags in a beneficial way.

The Importance of Keywords

The use of relevant keywords in blog posts is one of the most common and also one of the simplest ways to optimize search engine rankings. However, not all bloggers agree on the best ways to use relevant keywords to optimize search engine rankings. Some bloggers believe keywords must be used often to create high keyword densities while others believe using keywords at lower densities of 1%-3% and paying attention to placement of the keywords is the most worthwhile strategy. Still other bloggers argue that simply using relevant keywords as they come naturally in the flow of the blog posts is sufficient to ensure search engines understand the content of the blog.

Regardless of the keyword strategy a blogger opts to employ all bloggers can benefit from researching relevant keywords. They may have a blog which pertains to a general subject such as gardening but may not be aware of the search terms typically used by Internet users when researching this subject. Fortunately there are many programs available which generate related keywords for a particular time which provides the blogger with other keywords they should consider incorporating into the blog. For the example of a blog pertaining to gardening the blogger may want to use additional keywords such as container gardening or home gardening to attract more interest from search engine users.

Generating Favorable Backlinks

Back links are also another common factor used in search engine ranking algorithms. Many search engines consider the number of back links pointing to a website as well as the quality of the websites which provide these back links. This means the search engine rankings of the website which points to your blog could influence the amount of weight the back link contributes to your own rankings. This is because some search engines consider higher ranking websites to be more valuable than other websites which do not rank well and therefore reward websites receiving back links from these high ranking websites quite favorably.

Some search engine algorithms also consider whether or not the back links are reciprocated or not reciprocated. In these cases non reciprocal links are usually considered to be more valuable than reciprocal links. Also, back links which come from link exchanges or link farms are typically not considered to be very influential to search engine rankings.

How Images Can Improve Search Engine Rankings

Bloggers should also be aware that any pictures used on their blog can be used to improve search engine rankings with some search engines. This aspect of search engine optimization is often overlooked because many bloggers believe the pictures are not viewed by search engines. While this is true the search engines do crawl the code of the blog in addition to the content on the blog. This means the search engine will view the information provided in the image tags. Bloggers can take advantage of this by using the image tags to provide relevant keywords which can bolster search engine rankings. However, care should be taken to ensure the keywords used in these tags also accurately describe the image because blog visitors will often see the text included in these tags when they scroll over a picture on the blog.

Many people have heard tons of different stories concerning making money with blogs. Many people would love to have the benefits of being a top blogger because the lifestyle is great. This article will teach you what you need to do in detail to create and start your own successful blog. Many people do not realize that it is actually extremely easy to make Money from a Blog. By following the 5 step formula listed below you will easily be able to make your own blog.

Step #1 – Finding The Best Blog Platform

There are tons of websites out there that you can use to host a blog such as Blogger.com or Wordpress.com. It is more beneficial that you host your own blog with the Wordpress software. You can quickly download this great program at www.Wordpress.org. The great thing about this program is that it is extremely easy to use and there are tons of different plug-ins available for the software. These plug ins can be be very helpful in optimizing your blog so that it gets tons of traffic from search engines.

Step #2 – Set Up A Blog With Basic Content

Forums help to unite members. A great way to get started is to make twenty posts and share them with members on other forums.

Step #3 – Maximize The Traffic Your Blog Gets

If you followed step two closely you should already be getting a good base of traffic from forums. Although, if you want to be one of the top bloggers out there you are going to have to get more traffic. Article marketing is a great way to use search engines to increase the amount of traffic that your blog gets. A good thing to do would be to write 50 articles or so and to put tons of keywords in your article about your blog. After you do this you can upload them to EzineArticles.com. This website is great because if your articles are good you will be able to get a lot more traffic to your blog on a monthly basis.

When you write articles it is important that the content within them is extremely interesting. You can submit your content to bookmarking communities and you can also let them vote on the content to help promote your website. Many people that write interesting articles notice that the amount of traffic their blog gets rapidly increased from this method. Below is the list of things that will be beneficial about attracting people from a bookmarking site.

First Benefit – Increased Visitors

It is entirely possible that 90% of people that visit your blog will not stay and only ten percent will become loyal readers. It is important to realize that this is extremely normal. You should just keep working hard to get more traffic so that you can be successful!

Second Benefit – Expose Your Blog

Some of the visitors that will come to your blog may be a web master or successful blogger. If they come to your site you can get tons of back links by putting the links in your post. This will also help to boost your rankings on the search engine and rank up your website! By doing this constantly you will be able to quickly increase the amount of traffic your website gets. Another method of marketing that many people like to use is Video marketing. You can also leave comments on authority blogs that have been popular in the past. Doing this in this can result in other people putting inks to your blog on their website. Overtime if you post on authority blogs they will put a link to your blog on their site.

Fourth Step – Creating A News Letter & Collecting Email

Building an email list is extremely important to developing a successful website. It is possible that your readers will eventually forgot about your blog so it is helpful if you communicate with them through email. This will help you to promote your products and build a relationship with them. Many people like to offer an e-book to their members so that you can get their email!

Just think about the endless possibilities. You could get 4,000 members a day and 1,000 might go into your email list. This will give you close to 30,000 new emails every month! That is a huge number and those emails will help you earn more and more money every month!

Fifth Step – How To Make Money With Your Blog

There are tons of different ways that you can make money from a popular blog, but the strategies listed below are some of the best.

There are many ways to earn money from your blog, I am going to share some of mine:

First Strategy – Affiliate Products. When you write on your blog you can write about good products and if anyone buys the product from the vendor you can make a commission.

Second Strategy – Advertisement Network. There are tons of text ad networks out there that will pay you to put ads on your blog. One of the best ones is Google AdSense.

Third Strategy – Product Reviews. Many vendors out there on the Internet want to pay people to review their product so that they get advertising!

Fourth Strategy – Make a Product. Doing this can help you make money. There are tons of different types of products that you can make such as an e-book to sell to your readers!

Fifth Strategy – Get Sponsors. Sometimes product vendors will want to sponsor your blog or give free products to some of your readers so that they can spread the word about their product. They may even want to pay you to host a contest on your blog or website!

If you are simply looking for more readers without looking to make a profit, these techniques can be helpful.? Profit seeking bloggers, however will find be these tools invaluable and essential.
While good content is imperative for readers and therefore, essential to make money, you will need to ensure the content is original.? Plagiarism is copying someone else?s idea or written work and claiming it as your own.? This dishonesty, whether purposeful or accidental can get you into unnecessary trouble with search engines as well as the person that originally wrote the content. Be sure that all of your posts contain original content that only you own the rights to. This is an essential when you are marketing your blog for profit. Content is the primary key to successful blog marketing.

Tracking is an important aspect of blogging that is often overlooked.? You will want to track individual and repeated visits and clicks to know the traffic your blog receives.? You will want to know what and where the reader searched in order to arrive at your blog.? This is going to help you know what keywords are effective for you and which can be replaced.? Knowing these reader habits is going to take much of the guesswork out of your blog marketing.? The information you draw from from these facts and figures will help you mold your blog into what will bring the most readers to you and thereby derive the most profit.

An important thing for blog marketing is finding other blogs and websites that are similar in content as yours without being in competition.? Linking with these places is beneficial two fold.? Your readers get access to more information when they visit your blog, making you a more reliable source of information and readers are driven from the other site to yours enabling you to gain a larger audience.? If you can link up with a website or blog that possesses more authority than your own, the popularity of their blogs will drive up your recognition.? Search engines will recognize your link exchanges, and the more the better in this case.? The higher authority blog will continually serve as a portal through which the audiences flow, increasing your readership.

Blog marketing for money is not impossible. You simply need effective methods. It is a trial and error system wherein you must be prepared to make mistakes and fail or succeed unexpectedly. You cannot eliminate anything you have not tried.? If you are confident in your new marketing idea, try it.? Even if it does not work, you will have another idea to fix your misstep and at the very least have ruled out one way it doesn?t work. Nothing can work if you don?t at least make the effort.? If you find successful means, you should consider marketing your methods, too.? Others are looking for ways to triumph just as you were.? Your information could help them as fine as it did you.

Blogging requires a routine. Successful blogging means being faithful and consistent about posting, commenting, responding to comments, perusing news, connecting stories, and tweaking design. Without a routine… sanity ensues!

I don’t actually spend much time blogging. It isn’t my career, so I do it somewhat leisurely. But even in leisure, there are certain patterns that can be quite helpful. Here are some aspects of my own blogging routine. Sometimes I do this once or twice per day, sometimes it’s once a week, but all of these steps can prove quite helpful.

I check my stats. One two sites, I use Mint. On all sites, I use Google Analytics and on two or three, I use the WP Stats plugin. Seeing my statistics enables me to weed out unproductive or useless content and focus on content that has proven meaningful.

I respond to comments, tweets, and friend requests. This is not only good blog etiquette, but it’s also one of the purposes of blogging – to connect.

I check my advertising and affiliate revenue for the day… you know, just for fun!

I begin reading feeds. Personally, I use Google Reader for a variety of reasons, the biggest of which is that it moves fast.

I comment on articles from my feeds that I find beneficial or to which I have something to add. My site and email information depend on the nature of the article and which of my sites is most relevant to the topic.

I tag some really good posts in delicious for reference.

I use the WordPress bookmarklet to begin articles based on web content. Sometimes I post immediately, sometimes I save it for later. Often I open the full editor for greater control over categories and images.? Sometimes I will include several great links and sometimes I’ll just make a comment or two about a great link and then pass it along.

I write original stories that aren’t based on anything out there that I’ve read – that is – I don’t link to any particular source of inspiration, I just write about what interests me.

I peruse some social networks such as Twitter and Facebook, adding friends, posting links, and having fun.

I examine my blog’s design, making tweaks and adding things as necessary to make it a better blog.

This is my little routine, which has helped me quite a bit along the way. This particular blog (the one you’re reading) is less than three weeks old at this writing and today broke 100 unique visitors with no advertising anywhere – just networking, sharing, linking, and doing what bloggers love to do.

What’s your routine? I’d love to hear about it in the comments…

He’s kind of an artist and just recent wrote a post called “Maybe you can’t make money doing what you love.” His premise is that sometimes, when you try to monetize your passions, you lose them and your gift is cheapened.

In the realm of blogging, this is essentially true as well. Not every blog should be monetized. I operate a blog about web design, but I don’t offer any advertising since the ads wouldn’t fit with my design and would probably point potential clients to my competitors. I also operate a blog about my life as a Pastor. I monetize it only in that I recommend some books off of Amazon and have a few affiliate links, but I’m careful and selective.

One of the problems with Adsense, and other ad networks, is control. You’re often limited on sizing, design, and advertiser selection. Affiliate programs usually offer a bit more control, but you still have to be careful about how an ad distracts from your creative genius. What kinds of blogs shouldn’t be monetized?

1. Some personal blogs. If you blog for family, do you really want to hit them up with ads or affiliate banners? The ads will basically distract from the unique personality of the blog.

2. Religious blogs, with some exceptions, shouldn’t be monetized much. Why? Because your greater purpose should probably be to speak to skeptics, who will see your monetization as an offense.

3. Corporate blogs, again with some exceptions, probably aren’t the best place for advertisign because the blog itself is the ad for your business.

Donations sometimes serve as a decent alternative, but almost nobody really donates, so it may be an ineffective use of begging. If you have time, I’d suggest operating multiple blogs so that you can monetize one or two, but not all four or five.

One last factor to consider is that you should always be giving away content. I give away free WordPress themes. You might give away an ebook or free advice. Just remember always that it’s “more blessed to give than to receive.”

Things usually go downhill on Friday night and up again during the week. Why? Because so many people don’t have time to surf the web on the weekends. They either aren’t at their work computers (where they should be working anyways), they don’t have web access at home, or they’re just too busy running kids to ballgames, so always blog on Monday! How can you stay faithful at this practice?

Surf on Sunday night – read feeds, click through, find material.

Keep drafts – unfinished posts – start’em anytime and publish them on Monday.

Future post – with most platforms, you can post in the future and it won’t be live until that day.

Grab a Sunday paper – great for inspiration!

Reflect on the weekend – surely you didn’t blog the whole time!

Be cheerful – remember, it’s Monday.

Give good news – bad things happen on Monday, let folks know you’re a nice respite.

There are plenty of songs about how bad Monday is. They make the point that people need some inspiration on the first day of the week. Monday is also a day when people don’t feel rushed, so feel quite as rushed as Friday afternoon, so feel free to make it a bit longer. People also sometimes feel a slight lack of purpose, so give them some purpose! Happy Monday!

I’ve launched IDoBlogs.com! Okay, if you’re reading this, you’re probably seeing the site before it’s finished, but I thought I would build it on its live server rather than wait for a big site reveal. So what is IDoBlogs.com all about? Well, if you haven’t guessed it from the site title… or the header… or the description, it’s a blog about blogging for bloggers.

In the coming months (and perhaps years), I’m going to blog about the joys of blogging, covering such topics as…

Popular Blogging Platforms

Monetization and Advertising

Affiliate Marketing

Copywriting Skills

Online Social Networking

New Media

What sets me apart from the crowd? Well, first of all, I’m not arrogant enough to assume that I’m set apart from the crowd. But I will say that I’m not on this planet to get rich. I want to provide for my family and sometimes blogging can help with the extra income, but I’m here for a far more eternal purpose. Someday every server and data center on the planet will vanish away, but I’m going to live forever because I have established a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

That leads to the second thing that sets me apart from much of the crowd – ethics! In search engine optimization, marketing, advertising, etc. I have an extremely high commitment to ethical standards. I believe the internet should be a much cleaner and more family friendly place, and that dollars don’t always make sense at the expense of the soul!

Check back often. Subscribe. Keep in touch. And happy blogging!
